American Nathan Chen sits in second with a score of 72.57 despite falling on his opening triple Axel. Chen, the reigning U.S junior champion, finished strong with a triple flip-triple toe combination and a Level 4 step sequence as well as a Level 4 combination spin.

South Korea's June Hyoung Lee sits third with 68.52 points. Lee opened with a triple Axel and a triple flip-triple toe combination and closed with a Level 4 step sequence and combination spin sequence.

American Daniel Kulenkamp, who is making his international debut, is in 13th with a score of 54.31 after skating to "Black Dog" by Led Zeppelin.
